Livestock Logistics
Herd Management for the Future.
Development Proposal
Pursuant to your objective to develop a herd tracking solution serves your operations as described, our team has concluded the following capabilities, scope of work, and expenditure estimates needed to achieve that objective, largely based on the research herein.
Lost or Stolen Cattle:
The Cutting Edge approach to asset monitoring in Cattle today should include tracking with no limitations, able to locate assets whether they've simply wandered too far, or have been taken. The skyrocketing price of beef has resulted in cattle theft increasingly becoming an issue in Alberta and other Canadian provinces. Deterring thieves, and being able to recover stolen livestock would be ensured in a unique way by the Livestock Locator component of our solution, benefiting your operations in obvious ways.
Herd Health:
In addition to the positional data transmitted to your Livestock Locator Server per head, we also transmit important vitals such as Pulse Rate, Respiration Rate, and Temperature, allowing a wide range of health conditions to be identified from a distance, such as bacterial or viral infections, stress conditions and acute injuries.
Regulatory Compliance:
Second to the needs of our clients, we are commits to ensuring that our technology complies with government standards moving forward. Being founded by native Canadians, Forza Technologies would be tracking with Canadian regulatory bodies such as the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), and the AAFC (Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada) as their standards update.

Between 2022 & 2030
Players in the Cattle Monitoring Space are numerous given the size of the market, but like “Movement” (a leader in the space), most are:
Seeing these weaknesses as unacceptable in today’s climate of increasing cattle theft and few recourses for ranchers, we’d set out to produce a solution that is not so easily undermined.
What it will take to materialize a working prototype.
Research and Development:
(Phase 1 / April 15, 2024 - June 30, 2024)
1. Factory Sourcing:
Identifying and engaging with leading factories in the wearable GPS tracking device sector - a crucial step for establishing a robust supply chain and understanding the current market landscape. This involves among other things travel and lodging abroad (namely China).
2. Industry Networking:
Connecting with top-tier professionals and innovators in wearable GPS technology. The aim is to gain deep insights into the industry's capabilities and limitations, while also exploring emerging technologies for potential integration.
3. Hardware Design:
Prototype & Version 1 Development
- Collaborate closely with selected factories and their engineering teams to design the first version of our product.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing market offerings with the goal of surpass competitors by innovating in cost efficiency and / or functional superiority.
4. Mold Development:
- For mass production, both hard and soft goods necessitate custom molds. We’ll be designing and securing molds exclusive to our company, ensuring unique product identity and quality control.
5. Software Development:
Software and App Development Costs TBD
Our criteria for the software solution we design are the following:
1. Cross-Platform Compatibility:
Ensuring smooth usability on smartphones and tablets and web browser.
2. User-Friendly Design:
Focusing on an intuitive interface that's easy for non-technical personnel
3. Enhanced Security:
Robust data protection measures that subvert common rustler tactics.
4. Real-Time Syncing:
Enabling seamless data synchronization across chosen devices.
5. Maintenance and Updates:
Foreseeing regular software updates to refine functionality and security.
This proposal outlines a strategic approach to positioning our product at the forefront of wearable GPS technology, leveraging my expertise in product design to create a superior, market-leading solution.
